ABSTRACT

Myocardial infarction (MI) is the interruption of blood supply to part of the heart, causing heart cells to die, commonly due to occlusion (blockage) of a coronary artery. Herbal drugs are known to exhibit creditable medicinal properties for the treatment of heart ailments and need to be explored to identify their potential application in prevention and therapy of human ailments.
